We haven't really named this fish yet but he's the newest addition to our 55 gallon tank. So there is Koby, little sucker fish, and huge sucker fish. With lots of bubbles to swim in for oxygen, a log to hide under, and a sunken submarine. I love fish...

Bonecrusher (crush) pages: I've seen your Sweep Sheba, btw. Now I know that Sweeps are more scary with twice as many pink claws.

We inherited this magnificent creature from my husband's mother's tank which it had grown too large to swim happily. I have two cats and Buttercup absolutely LOVES sitting at the tank. Abigail used to lay behind it.

that's awesome

i had mine for quiet some time. I got him/her (?) one day because my dad took me and my step brothers to the pet store and told us we could all pick out a fish. When we move i believe 2 years later mine was the only one who survived the trip. Then we had him a good long time and he got his name because one random day he put up his fin on his back and i'd never seen him do that before and never saw him do it again. But it was awesome and reminded me of a monster.. but it was really sad that how he died was our cat... he lived for so long too
thanks for listening/reading my story.. never got the opportunity to tell anyone that.. not many people really consider fish great pets

I consider the spider that camped out on our patio door a pet. We actually fed it dead moths that fell from the night before and on occasions we threw it life ones that we caught if we went outside at night. Animals in general are amazing! I have tons of pets. I actually have a tank of small snails. I refuse to dump it (even though they came from the live plants I bought for my Beta over a year and a half ago. He's died since then - BUT STILL! haha I'm a sucker for animals.

lol, i totally understand. I found a baby kitten 4 weeks ago that is well now 4 weeks old, she was abandoned and been a lot to take care of, but she's worth every second.
and i used to try and save the birds that would brake their wings or hit our house when i was a kid.. but they all died sadly... if i had my way i'd have more pets.. but my mom's not a big fan of them

Yeah, I'm almost the same way. But it helped to have an uncle that's a naturalist and the manager of a state park. I've been raised in the wilderness and around all kinds of animals all my life. Cats are so far my favorite, and fish are pretty close.
:iconthe-pirateninja:
i personally like dogs and such but cats come pretty close

Well, dogs are more dependant. And you have to potty train them. Kittens... show them the liter box... You're good go to most of the time. BUT I like the fact that dogs NEED you way more than cats NEED somebody. But my cat Buttercup seems pretty needy... she's always meowing...
